Kaysen Newman
Fundraising for Tree of Hope
Kaysen is a 3-year-old little boy who faces physical challenges along with behavioural and eating difficulties. While he undergoes physiotherapy, it sadly hasn’t been enough to meet all his needs. To give him additional support, we started conductive education therapy, which has worked absolute wonders for him. However, the cost is a significant burden, especially as we also care for another disabled child and one who may be on the autism spectrum.
Kaysen is non-verbal and currently undergoing autism assessments. This time last year, he couldn’t even sit up on his own, but now he’s on his feet and walking, though he can’t go very far yet. With the continued support of Megan Baker House, we’re confident they’ll help him reach his full potential.
7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.
If we raise insufficient funds, or surplus funds, then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child’s needs in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objects. If in those circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope’s charitable objectives, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
