Jasmine Isla Brayley

Help Jasmine get ongoing intensive therapies

Jasmine, my daughter, was born with severe brain damage due to contracting CMV during my first trimester. It was unexpected and a shock, which has led to significant damage to my little girl’s brain. It has also affected her hearing and vision. Jasmine is nonverbal, has cerebral palsy (CP), and is dystonic.

However, many doctors have told me that my daughter can improve and may one day stand independently and even walk. But to achieve this, she urgently needs ongoing intensive therapies, including physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy (OT). The younger she starts, the better her chances.

Unfortunately, Jasmine hardly receives any therapy through the NHS, and as a single mum, I can’t afford the private sessions that hold so much hope for her future. These therapies could give her the opportunity to live a better-quality life.

I’ve always hesitated to ask others for help, but now I need to gather strength and do everything I can to ensure Jasmine gets the help she needs.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for supporting my little girl’s journey.
