Tree of Hope Celebrates New Website Launch with Support from Wards of Kent Estate Agents

03 Apr 2024

Tree of Hope, a national children’s charity, proudly celebrates the launch of their brand-new website this week, marking a significant milestone in driving their digital growth. This achievement is made possible by the continued support and funding from Wards of Kent estate agents, part of the Arun Estates group.

Founded in 1992 in Bexhill, East Sussex, Tree of Hope helps families with sick and disabled children fundraise for essential healthcare needs not covered by state provision. In 2020, the charity developed a relationship with The Rooney Foundation, the charitable arm of Arun Estates, via the Kent Community Foundation. This led to a three-year grant starting in 2021, marking a significant phase in Tree of Hope’s growth.

Expanding Support for Families

The funding from Wards of Kent and The Rooney Foundation has been pivotal in expanding support for families with sick or disabled children in the UK over the past three years. It has significantly increased the number of children who can receive help. As part of this initiative, the new website aims to boost the charity’s digital presence, enhancing their marketing strategies and extending their reach to help more families.

Georgina Lowry, Head of Marketing and Family Support at Tree of Hope, expressed her gratitude: “We are so grateful to Arun Estates and particularly Wards for their tremendous support. Tree of Hope continues to be needed by many families, with a £1.8 billion funding gap in disabled children’s services across the UK. Digital growth is key to reaching those families that need us. We are excited for this new chapter and the opportunities our new website brings.”

Ongoing Partnership and Fundraising

Wards of Kent estate agents have also selected Tree of Hope as their charity partner for 2024. Their fundraising efforts will help Tree of Hope provide services to families in Kent and across the UK. Over the years, Arun Estates have raised over £16 million for local and national charities.

Aldo Sotgiu, Group Managing Director of Arun Estates, said: “We have a long association with Tree of Hope, and when we asked our staff which charity they would like to support this year, I was delighted when Tree of Hope was selected. This means we’ve adopted Tree of Hope in 2024 as one of our core charity partners. Our staff and offices have several events planned throughout the year to raise as much money as possible for this fabulous organization.”

Website Development by Kayo Digital

Tree of Hope appointed Kayo Digital, an award-winning digital marketing agency in Kent, to develop the new website. Kayo Digital specializes in creating user-focused websites, ensuring the project is built around tailored customer research.

CEO Becky Andrew commented: “Tree of Hope is dedicated to ensuring every child and young person has access to the best healthcare and support, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives and realize their full potential. This chapter marks a pivotal moment for the organization in realizing this vision. We are deeply grateful to Arun Estates and The Rooney Foundation for their generous support, enabling us to bring this vision to life.”
