Freddie Farmer Foundation
Intensive Physiotherapy for Children with Disabilities
Founded in 2015 in Bromley, Kent, The Freddie Farmer Foundation is a UK-based independent charity committed to providing intensive physiotherapy programs for children aged 3-16 years with cerebral palsy and mobility challenges.
Inspired by Freddie Farmer, who was born prematurely at 28 weeks, weighing just 2 lbs 12 oz and later diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the foundation emerged from the need for frequent, specialised therapy.
Recognizing the limited options for local treatment, Freddie’s mother, Deanne, along with family and friends, embarked on a mission to raise £250,000, leading to the creation of a dedicated physiotherapy centre in South East England and Tree of Hope have been supporting families to fundraise for their therapy programmes ever since.
This foundation welcomes children with various physical disabilities and backgrounds, offering advanced pediatric physical therapy that utilises specialised equipment and innovative therapeutic techniques inspired by methods developed in Poland.
