Disabled Children's Partnership

Tree of Hope are proud to be a part of this coalition of over 100 organisations, campaigning for better health and social care for disabled children.

The Disabled Children's Partnership (DCP) is a coalition of over 100 organisations committed to championing the rights and needs of disabled children, young people, and their families.

With a focus on securing better health and social care services, DCP advocates for policy changes, increased support, and public awareness to enhance the lives of disabled children across the UK.

The coalition works collaboratively to ensure that every child and family receives the resources and care they deserve and aligns with Tree of Hopes mission.

We want to be part of the movement for removing the barriers to people being able to relate to the lives of disabled children, creating greater understanding, affinity and empathy for them and their families.

As part of the The Disabled Children's Partnership we're a part of:

Raising Awareness

The Disabled Children’s Partnership wants to open the eyes of the public and improve the understanding of the challenges faced by families with disabled children on a day-to-day basis.

The DCP has spearheaded several campaigns to address the chronic underfunding of services for disabled children. Notably, the #CountDisabledChildrenIn campaign mobilized the public to contact their local councils, raising awareness of the funding shortfalls, which is where Tree of Hope aims to help to play a part in addressing this change.

Campaigning for Change

Without awareness and understanding, we cannot achieve real change. But, with increased awareness and public support we can help make a real difference and provide disabled children, young people and their families access to the services they are entitled to, when they need them.
